White Arrows get going on a remix roadtrip  13 June 2012

LA’s White Arrows are touring our shores in August and their plan is simple: to get you going!

Inspired by their groove-laden psychedelic single ‘Get Gone’ LA’s White Arrows have sent the track on a road trip around Australia to be remixed by some of the countries best up and coming DJs.

Purple Sneakers DJs is the union of PhDJ and Randall Stagg.  Together, these two jump relentlessly from one musical style to the next, making heads bang and hands reach for the sky as they swing from hip hop to hyperactive indie pop, heart-stopping dubstep and electro fist pumpers in the blink of an eye.

No strangers to national tours and festival slots the Purple Sneakers DJs have annihilated the dance floor alongside acts like Sleigh Bells, Odd Future, La Roux, Bloc Party, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and Miike Snow.

Tomderson is a young up-and-coming DJ from the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. In 2009 Tomderson started mixing songs in his bungalow out the back of his house and soon he progressed into the world that is house parties.

Since scoring his first gig in 2010, Tomderson has played in around 20 different clubs around Melbourne as well as supporting local and international acts like Ajax, Star Slinger, Flume, What So Not, Miami Horror, Muscles, Gramophonedzie (SER), Barretso (CHILE), Nina Las Vegas, Anna Lunoe, Matt Van Schie, Trumpdisco, Benson, Harris Robotis and many more.

All this and he only just turned 18.

Gran Calavera is a collaborative effort between two DJ/Producers and a Greenkeeper from Perth, Western Australia. After only a short time the trio, which began as a side project, had already gained residencies in Perth's biggest bass music club nights.

After being selected as a finalist in a nation wide remix comp by the Hilltop Hoods themselves, national attention began through Triple J. They are currently completing their debut EP and developing their live show.
