Dew Process take over SXSW  13 March 2012

It's SXSW time of year again and for those of you lucky enough to be heading to the biggest music conference in the world, here is a run down of where you can catch our Dew Process artists.


Zulu Winter have produced a debut that has seen them hailed as one of the most exciting guitar bands in Britain off the back of just a handful of shows.  These five well-read, scholarly gents look to release “Language” on Friday 11th May, with first single ‘We Should Be Swimming’ already stroking the airwaves of UK radio and named amongst Q Magazine’s “Essential Listening” this month. Zulu Winter live shows are fast becoming “must see” events.

Californian five-piece White Arrows are the newest addition to the Dew Process roster. With industry a-flutter following the announcement of numerous shows at this year’s South By South West (SXSW), the anticipation is set for their forthcoming EP release “Get Gone”.

Los Angeles duo Electric Guest has put the blogosphere into chaos with their wealth of influences, rhythms, moods and textures amid their psychedelic soul-pop sounds. Co-founders Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton caught the attention of the Grammy Award-winning Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, Broken Bells, Gorillaz) who signed on to co-produce their debut LP “Mondo” (Out April 27).  Both KCRW and KROQ have stamped their approval attesting Electric Guest’s rapidly escalating profile.

John Steel Singers have spent the last six months demoing for album number two. Amongst a run of US dates and SXSW appearances, John Steel Singers are heading into the studio with LA producer Thom Monahan (Little Joy, Devendra Banhart, Au Revoir Simone) to record new tracks. For those lucky enough to be attending the biggest music conference in the world, here is a run down of where to catch John Steel Singers.

British folk rockers Mumford and Sons will also be making an appearance at this year’s festival. “Big Easy Express”, a documentary following their unique railroad tour with musical comrades Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and Old Crow Medicine Show almost a year ago with be premiered at SXSW followed by a special acoustic performances featuring members of all three bands. Mumford and Sons are currently concentrating on their highly anticipated second release with more news of that to surface over the next few months.
