Our favourite Scandavian son, Mikhael Paskalev, has given us yet another reason to witness his live antics, inviting Australia’s own three piece, Little May to join him on the road. The string of shows – on sale tomorrow – will see Mikhael flaunt his showmanship at Perth Festival, before hitting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with Little May in tow next March.
Forming mid last year, the intricate harmonies of first single ‘Boardwalks’ have earned Sydney songstresses, Little May a swag of support early in the piece. With the unveiling single number two - ‘Hide’ - the mutual admirers of Fleetwood Mac, Half Moon Run and Local Natives reached #2 on Hype Machine and are currently enjoying over 180,000 plays on SoundCloud.
With a knack of bringing out everyone’s inner Tom Cruise, Mikhael Paskalev will be offering all the glory of his first single ‘I Spy’ at these shows, along with a special preview of his forthcoming album due out in March next year. If the new Paskalev-goodness cannot come soon enough, this Friday 15th November has just your savoir - hosting the arrival of his debut Australian release, the ‘I Spy EP’ out via Dew Process.
Tickets to Mikhael Paskalev’s Australian tour are on sale Wednesday 13th November, Purchase here.
