Many Things have revealed another new track ‘Chains’ ahead of the release of their new EP, ‘What We Are’, August 22nd via Dew Process. Formerly known as MT, but now under the longer moniker Many Things, the band have just come off tours with both Panic! At The Disco and The Polyphonic Spree earlier this month.
Recorded in Berlin and London, the first two tracks from the EP present the ever-increasing length and breadth of what Many Things can deliver, ‘Chains’ highlights hidden depths with it’s heart wrenching vocals and brooding production; ‘Incredible’ is tender and uplifting.
Over the past year Many Things, Fronted by Brisbane's Michael Tomlinson (formerly of indie-favourite Yves Klein Blue) have been based in London, stirring up a groundswell of hype across the UK, being championed by the likes of NME, Clash, DIY, The Line Of Best Fit, The 405 and Artrocker, as well as winning big support at BBC Radio One from Phil & Alice, Zane Lowe and Jen Long. MT have been labelled as ‘Ones To Watch’ after their set at The Great Escape Festival, and continue to carve out a reputation off the back of their energetic and inspiring live performances – all this before their debut release!
